Education
As an ordained Minister, she has provided support to - and continues to support - various other ministries. Some of her duties include: job placement, housing placement, life management skills facilitator, fundraiser, and coordinator of special events, including revivals and fundraisers for the Upper Room Church in Jonesboro, Georgia, of which she is the Elect Lady. Along with her husband, she has been instrumental in planting churches in Florida, New York, Virginia, North Carolina, Mississippi, Hawaii, Italy and Africa.
As a motivational speaker, she ministers at various churches and retreats. Part of her ministerial outreach includes radio and television appearances. She has previously hosted weekly radio shows on WIGO and Love 86. She is working on launching her own radio and television ministry.
Minister Battle also coordinates and conducts workshops, retreats and other community events. Additionally, pastoral counseling is a major part of her ministry, particularly for women, youth, children, and couples.
On the lighter side, she enjoys traveling, listening to music - particularly classical music; attending the theater; watching black and white movie classics; fishing; reading; writing, and mountain top experiences.
Minister Battle has a calling to see women and girls become willing vessels for the Lord, ready to hear His voice and move at His bidding. Ladies In Waiting Ministries International, Inc. (LIWMI) was established to draw hurting women and girls across the world, bringing them healing and hope (Isaiah 6:8, 9).
